Outerbanks tripping

I like girls surfing a lot too.  Here is Mary SM8R grabbing a rail on the Outerbanks right by what used to be Mulligans, it's now called the Beach Road Grill, probably because it's on the beach road.  Anyway, it's in Nags Head, what ever.  Mary Rules, she will tell you so.  Oh, back story, uh, I was in North Carolina a few weeks ago, brought Morgan out to Mentor under Science, it went well, Science taught Morgan how to do a frontside boneless on vert, now he is boosting off of everything like a mexican jumping bean.

This is Ashley Barnes, surfing the same spot.  She is radical.  Ashley and Science just bought a house and put up me and Morgan for a week thanks Ashley.  Oh, she took Morgan out to surf for the first time and he caught a wave.  At nights we hung out at the house and watch "This is Elvis" over and over again practicing our best Elvis impressions.  The night before we left we watched Elvis "Aloha from Hawaii" box set with Raw uncut footage, then watched the edited stuff.  Yup, Science wants to get permission to skate Elvis' pool and all the skaters have to dress up like Elvis.  They gotta be rippers ya know, because, Elvis is the King!

Morgan with a fronside air off of the hip.

Meigsican Jumping Bean!!!

Just to confirm it.  Yes, we are all over the hill.  Morgan Burgess, it's another frontside invert make.  The hand does appear to be a little low, of course I've never done one and there are a lot of dude's out there tying to make "one" yeah Morgan, sick, now work on some lip tricks.

Skate Opus....wanna go to Wanchese Opus???         So here is Science, Opus, Darth Tater and a PBR.  Opus loves to skate, especially doubles with Science.....Skate Opus, wanna skate Wanchese???

Went to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with Brewce Martin in the Hill Billy Dream Machine and who did we see but Dave "Science" Maxwell, check out this frontside air out of the oververt pocket at the Wanchese bowl.  Simply outrageous.

Here we have our friend Foamy welding a sidepipe back on the HillyBilly Dream vehicle, yes its an 88 Lincoln Limo with assorted decorations from across the country, it tends to make most people smile when they see it.  To the right is our gift to the girls house that hosted us during our stay in Nags Head.  We found this trailer with take me fix me written on it, so we bought some paint and customized it for the girls then dragged in front of the girlville house, which happens to be accross from Mulligans, a bar we frequented, the HillBilly gods were smiling upon us!

Here's Science airing every hip at the Outer Banks YMCA Roundwall Round up contest.  Science was destroying the whole park up until the last 5 seconds of his heat when he re-injured his knee.  Thus he was unable to skate in the final heat, though I though they should have used his 1st heat scores, which would have hooked him up with 1st place.  This opened the door for Packy, Pat Clark, and Jessie Davis for a three was tie for first, the tie breaker ended up being a best trick contest on this moveable extention which was pretty crazy.  Oh yeah, this was the first Skatepark built by Grindline on the East Coast, I think even the east half of the US.

Jesse Davis, Outer Banks local doing a Crail Slide on the over vert pocket.  Jesse has sent in some of the pictures of fullpipes that are on this site.  Go to the Outer Banks to skate and you'll probably run into Jesse at one of several pools, the Chief, or at the YMCA Grindline park.  Jesse has a hot wife, but you didn't hear that from me.

Pat Clark doing a 1 foot invert.  Pats been around a long time skating on the east coast, originally from the Washington DC area, he was a fixture at the Cedar Crest Country Club ramp, pat ended up tying for 1st place with Packy.

The Roundwall roundup tie breaker was done by a best trick contest on the vert extension supplied from the street course, here "The Chosen One" Packy pulls an egg plant, this was way sick but they still ended up with a 2 way tie for first between 39 year old Pat Clark and 19 year old Packy.  From what I understand, last year they tied for first and Pat took home the 1st place trophy, this year Packy took home the trophy.  Anyway Brewce Martin has dubbed Packy as the Chosen one, so now he has one year of service to Skatopia, lets see what Packy can produce.  He's a ripper.  On a side note he was beaten at the Tampa Am this year by a girl, although the girl in question was Lindsay Adams Hawkins a Professional girl skater, so the way I see it, packy can now enter Professional womens contests as well as Amateur and Open contests.  Watch out girls, Packy is on the hunt!
